12 April 2000

UK ambient/dance duo Olive—a personal favorite of Maverick Records partner Madonna—release in the US on 30 May their new LP Trickle. The album follows their debut Extra Virgin by nearly four years, and notably includes a cover of the 1975 song I’m Not In Love by UK experimental pop band 10cc. The new version of the song also appears on the soundtrack to The Next Best Thing.
The official Olive site on Maverick—they recently signed on having left RCA—has posted a couple of RealAudio samples from Trickle. Olive plan to tour the US in June, with details to be announced. | Billboard story | | Olive | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
