Kill Me Tomorrow release EP, start yet another US tour

Last week, San Diego (by way of Portland) sci-fi/no-wave trio Kill Me Tomorrow released a six-song EP produced by Pall Jenkins of 3 Mile Pilot/The Blackheart Procession. Along with a 7" single released earlier this year, the new disc is a preview of the band’s forthcoming album, The Garbageman And The Prostitute, due in late September.
The new CD-EP’s side one, as it were, has three new songs: title track Skin’s Getting Weird, What’s All These Teeth About?, and part two of Put The Time Machine In Your Mouth. It also has an alternate version of the title, and a cover of Ghost Rider, a song from Suicide’s 1977 debut album. Side two, aka track 6, consists entirely of part one of Put The Time Machine In Your Mouth.
The current incarnation of Kill Me Tomorrow is Zack Wentz on vocals, drums, and electronics (and who’s been a guest musician for The Blackheart Procession), K8 Wince on bass and vocals (and who’s married to Zack), and Dan Wise on guitar, keyboards, and vocals (and who, according to the band’s FAQ page, is married, but not to Zack and K8).
In the past twelve months KMT have toured the US twice and the west coast four times. They hit the road again this past Saturday and continue through 18 July. Check their page on the Gold Standard Laboratories site (link below) for all the dates. | Kill Me Tomorrow | | KMT on GSL Records | | Suicide | | top of page |
